ATMs may run out of cash if governments fail to secure delivery vans

Your neighbourhood ATM may run dry by month end if the government fails to resolve concerns raised by cash logistic providers in securing their delivery vans. In a complaint to the ministries of home and finance, several cash logistic companies say guards employed by them to secure cash delivery vans are being harassed by state governments on the pretext that they are using their licensed personal weapons for a commercial venture. These companies have specifically named Maharashtra, Gujarat,Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka where the authorities have initiated action against guards manning cash delivery vans.
